The best and the worst situation

Well this year, a lot of things have happened, many wonderful things and some worst. But I can’t choose one of them, because all the thing with my new friends have been specials. But something that is bad and turns to a happy moment that I remember every time is when I feel really bad, sad and depressing for external reasons, and my friends give me happiness and mood, I don’t express my feelings very clear but that was a really motivation to go on to my normal life and my normal happiness, I never thanked them but that was really significant and important for me. In that situation I was with my friend; my friend Juanito, my friend Marcelo, my thin cow friend Debora, my little and sweet step-sister Katu, my old fat cow friend Fernando, my  cute friend Andrea, and my little friend Cecilia. I love all of you <3 ball of grease, all you are the best.

Guy de Chauliac

Guy de Chauliac was an important person, that could be catalogued as an expert. He was  born in Chaulhac, Lozère (France) in 1300, and died on 25th July in 1368. In the Middle Ages, he was one of the biggest physicians, surgeon and the first man who introduced the concept of "dentist". So, he could be catalogued as an expert in the field of Health and Odontology.

In the field of Odontology, he contributed with the idea of "dentist" and built an extraction tool practice it’s called “Pelican”. Also, when he lived, he practiced the orthopaedic. He wrote in Latin about surgery ("Chirurgia Magna"). Also, he was the doctor of Popes Benedicto XII, Clamentes VI, Inocecio VI and Urbano V, and survived the Black Death.

He was important because, many actual advances and actual tools could not be made. His work was the base of future investigations and more advances in the field of Odontology.

I discovered this distinguished person in an odontological chronology in the “Museo Nacional de la Odontologia”, in Santiago. Also, I remember the “Pelican”, because it is remarkable and it really looks like a pelican.

My Photograph

( One of the 9 wonders of modern world )

This photograph is one of the most popular photographs when the people go to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. When I went to Rio de Janeiro I took this photo, it amazing and very mystic. When somebody goes to Rio de Janeiro should visit the Tijuca National Park and the Corcovado that is the main mountain in the city. There is a long way to the lookout in the top of the mountain, where is the great and biggest "Cristo redentor" statue, this statue height 38 meters plus 8 meters of the base and is a worldwide know and famous. I don’t remember the date but I took this photograph last year (2013) in summer holidays. I live very much this photograph for many reasons, that photo remember a good journey to a great country whit a beautiful places and people, Brazil is awesome, also I consider myself as a Christian and this picture represent very much for the all Christian community in the world, apart the statue is wonderful, is biggest and can be see it in many places of Rio. And the most important reason is that the lookout is 710 meters over the sea level, and is one of the 9 wonder of modern world.

Technology

In my case, I have two favorite technologic objects, my tablet and my laptop. I love them and without them I think I wouldn’t know what I am doing.

I’ve got my tablet for six months, it was a present due to I entered to University, and it has been helping me for all this time. The way to use it, is like a mini touch-computer with also other functions, but practically they are the same, so I can use it like notebook, camera, or to play computer games and too many other things.  It has such an important and sophisticated function:  I can use it as a phone to! The only thing that I have to do is insert a phone chip in it.  I use it almost all day and I love it, it has helped me in the university, in my home and in loads of places. When I don’t have it or when it battery is running out, the day are so difficult and there are always unexpected problems, because I can’t make phone-calls from it, or see the worksheet of university, or many other things, so I‘ve got use to carry a charger in my bag.

About my new laptop, is like my tablet but more powerful and more difficult carry with it, also I use it to listen music, I’ve changed my old laptop 3 month ago, because my old laptop had many problems, and practically it couldn’t use. I use my new computer every time I arrive to my home, because always I have to do any homework or search info to some subject. I love it because is really helpful and cool. My life without it will be really difficult, but my tablet will be the supplement.
